Feeling chatty online
Do you like to collaborate with your campaign friends via text / phone?

An easy way to lock down these communications from prying eyes and ears is to use Signal (https://signal.org/download) instead of your phone's regular SMS and talk features. You’ll love the end-to-end encryption as you text and talk. Safe, easy, awesome.

Other considerations:

- Using Slack and Google Chat (including direct messages) can be retained and subject to litigation holds
- Only share things that you would not be embarrassed if they ended up on the front page of the New York Times
- Do not send sensitive communications or data over SMS ever

Being chatty offline

Even when you are out and about (restaurants, clubs, or bars?) remember you are still representing the campaign.

Be careful when talking to your friends so you don’t reveal any campaign secrets. Note that when you are wearing your swag, lots of people - including reporters - will want to engage you in conversation.

You don't have to be nice, just send all inquiries to Comms!
