Hello MI VAN Users!

We have a couple quick updates for you ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday:

Vote History for November General Election:

We expect to receive vote history from the Secretary of State for the November 7th Election with our December voter file update. This update should land in VAN by mid-December.

Once we receive the vote history for this election, you can find it in the Voting History section of Create a List.

VAN Access for Candidates:

We encourage candidates to request VAN access for 2024 campaigns as early as possible. Please don’t wait until the day before a big mailing or texting program. While most requests are handled quickly, some can take several days to process. We only handle VAN access requests during regular business hours, so any requests submitted during nights or weekends will be picked up on the next business day.

Candidates looking to request VAN access for a 2024 campaign can get started by filling out the VAN Access Request Form. Once we’ve received your form submission, we’ll follow up with more details and next steps, including pricing and membership requirements. Please do not reach out separately to request the VAN fee for your campaign, just go ahead and fill out the request form so we have all the information we need in one place to calculate your fee.

A quick reminder that candidates need to renew VAN access for every new election cycle they run in. To start your renewal process, fill out the VAN Access Request Form

VAN Office Hours

We are ending regularly scheduled office hours and moving to one-on-one office hours that can be scheduled through our Calendly link. Please don’t hesitate to schedule a meeting if you have questions big or small. Also, don’t forget that you can find all of our support channels and resources at midems.co/van-help

VAN Support Holiday Hours

Our team will be taking some much needed time off over the holidays, beginning Thursday, November 23rd and returning on Monday, November 27th. You can still reach out to our team at van@michigandems.com during this time and we will follow up when we return on November 27th.
