During the course of your campaign or leading your local organization, you may end up needing to bulk upload a bunch of data to VAN. There are some things you’ll want to know before you do.
1. You’ll need to have VAN IDs on all of your voters, you can reach out to us at van@michigandems.com if you need help getting VAN IDs on a list for bulk upload.
2. Bulk Upload can use either a direct upload (with an acceptable file type) or can be uploaded from google sheets.
After you press upload, you will be given an option to export any unmatched people. You can try to manually find these voters or. Once inside the bulk upload wizard, you will be given the option to apply data to everyone on your list. These options include activist codes, survey responses, saving as a list, or matching emails.
Once you have finished mapping the data, you can press finish and your upload will begin processing!
